不定冠詞

不定(ding)冠(guan)詞有兩(liang)種形(xing)式：a和an

a 用于輔(fu)音 (不(bu)一定是輔(fu)音字母(mu))開(kai)頭(tou)的名(ming)詞前，如(ru)：a teacher/university/house

an 用(yong)于元音(yin)(不一定是(shi)元音(yin)字母)開頭的名(ming)詞前(qian)，如：an apple/hour/egg/orange

不定冠詞的用法：

1.表示某類人或事物當(dang)中(zhong)的一(yi)個，如：

Her brother is a college student.

2.表示(shi)數(shu)(shu)量：即表示(shi)數(shu)(shu)量“一(yi)”，如(ru)：

A year is divided into twelve months.

3.表示同一性，說明事物的同一特征(zheng)，大小，程度或性質。如：

This hat and that one are of a shape.

4.指事(shi)物的單位(wei)，相當于every any, 如(ru)：

She kept on writing to her parents once a month.

不定冠詞的常(chang)見詞組搭配：a lot of ; a good many; as a result; as a matter of fact

定冠詞the 的常見用法：

1. 特指某人或(huo)某物(wu)時

(1)特指上文已提(ti)過的人或物。如(ru)：

He came across an old friend in a shop. The friend was now a general manager.

(2)特指雙方都知道的人(ren)或(huo)物。如：

Did you park the car at the corner?

(3)特指形容詞最高(gao)級(ji)、比較(jiao)級(ji)所(suo)修飾(shi)的某個確(que)定的人或物。如：

He chose the bigger orange, but she chose the smallest one.

2.世界上獨一無二(er)的名詞及樂器名詞前，如(ru)：

The earth is bigger than the moon, but smaller than the sun.

Do you like to play the piano the violin?

3. the +形容詞(ci)，表示一類人或物。如：

the old, the young, the rich, the poor, the sick

如：He stole from the rich to give to the poor.

4. the +姓氏s，表示(shi)一家人或一對夫婦，如：

零冠詞的用法：

1.用在學科(ke)、球類運(yun)動或游戲名稱前：

English is learned in most high school.

They enjoy playing basketball in the afternoon.

The old are playing chess under the tree.

2.一日三餐(can)前(qian)(qian)(但如其前(qian)(qian)后(hou)有形容詞或從句、短語修飾時，應加冠詞)

We usually go to school after breakfast at seven.
