南(nan)(nan)陽(yang)開(kai)放大(da)學始建于1979年,1980年建立電(dian)大(da)南(nan)(nan)陽(yang)工作(zuo)站(zhan),1982年成立電(dian)大(da)南(nan)(nan)陽(yang)地(di)區分校,1994年更名為南(nan)(nan)陽(yang)廣播(bo)電(dian)視大(da)學,2021年11月更名為南(nan)(nan)陽(yang)開(kai)放大(da)學。
建校以來,在(zai)(zai)市委市政(zheng)府和市教育行政(zheng)部門(men)的正(zheng)確領導(dao)下,在(zai)(zai)河南開放(fang)大學的悉心指導(dao)下,在(zai)(zai)社(she)會各界的關(guan)心支持下,南陽(yang)開放(fang)大學解(jie)放(fang)思(si)想(xiang)、深(shen)化改革、勵(li)精(jing)圖治、創(chuang)新發展,先(xian)后為社(she)會培(pei)養畢業生10余(yu)萬余(yu)人(ren),各類在(zai)(zai)職培(pei)訓30萬余(yu)人(ren)。
近(jin)幾年來,校黨(dang)委高(gao)舉習(xi)近(jin)平(ping)新(xin)時代中(zhong)國特色社(she)會主義思想偉大(da)(da)旗幟,錨定(ding)黨(dang)建(jian)(jian)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)高(gao)質量(liang)和學(xue)(xue)校發(fa)(fa)展(zhan)(zhan)高(gao)質量(liang)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)目標(biao),風雨(yu)兼程,勇毅前(qian)行(xing)(xing),實現了(le)跨越式發(fa)(fa)展(zhan)(zhan),譜寫(xie)了(le)新(xin)時代的(de)(de)輝(hui)煌(huang)篇章。堅(jian)持(chi)把黨(dang)建(jian)(jian)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)放在學(xue)(xue)校工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)的(de)(de)首位(wei)(wei),把政治建(jian)(jian)設擺在黨(dang)建(jian)(jian)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)的(de)(de)首位(wei)(wei),黨(dang)的(de)(de)建(jian)(jian)設得到全(quan)(quan)面(mian)加強,黨(dang)建(jian)(jian)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)質量(liang)穩步提(ti)高(gao);堅(jian)持(chi)把招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)作(zuo)為(wei)學(xue)(xue)校發(fa)(fa)展(zhan)(zhan)大(da)(da)計,積極采取措施破解(jie)招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)難(nan)題,擴大(da)(da)招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)規模(mo),增(zeng)強發(fa)(fa)展(zhan)(zhan)活力,年度招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)人數穩定(ding)在8000人左(zuo)右,在校生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)規模(mo)穩定(ding)在18000人左(zuo)右,穩居省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)轄市(shi)電大(da)(da)招(zhao)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)規模(mo)和辦學(xue)(xue)規模(mo)前(qian)列;堅(jian)持(chi)走數量(liang)和質量(liang)協調發(fa)(fa)展(zhan)(zhan)之路(lu),不斷采取措施規范辦學(xue)(xue)行(xing)(xing)為(wei)提(ti)高(gao)辦學(xue)(xue)質量(liang),開放教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)規范辦學(xue)(xue)成效(xiao)顯著(zhu),學(xue)(xue)員網上學(xue)(xue)習(xi)市(shi)級(ji)網檢排名(ming)連年位(wei)(wei)居全(quan)(quan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)第一名(ming),網絡教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)2016年被教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)部授予(yu)全(quan)(quan)國高(gao)校網絡教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)統考(kao)優秀(xiu)考(kao)點(dian);堅(jian)持(chi)把辦學(xue)(xue)條(tiao)件改(gai)(gai)造提(ti)升(sheng)作(zuo)為(wei)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)重(zhong)點(dian),先后對校園綠化、操場、道路(lu)、多功能廳、培訓樓、禮堂等(deng)(deng)進(jin)行(xing)(xing)了(le)改(gai)(gai)造提(ti)升(sheng),校容(rong)校貌發(fa)(fa)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)了(le)顯著(zhu)改(gai)(gai)變、師生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)習(xi)、工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)、生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)活條(tiao)件顯著(zhu)改(gai)(gai)善,學(xue)(xue)校成功連任(ren)“省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)級(ji)文明單(dan)位(wei)(wei)”稱號(hao),并獲得了(le)“河南(nan)省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)園林(lin)單(dan)位(wei)(wei)”、“省(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)級(ji)衛生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)先進(jin)單(dan)位(wei)(wei)”、“南(nan)陽市(shi)平(ping)安建(jian)(jian)設優秀(xiu)單(dan)位(wei)(wei)”等(deng)(deng)榮譽稱號(hao);堅(jian)持(chi)以(yi)服務社(she)會為(wei)己任(ren),在辦好學(xue)(xue)歷(li)教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)的(de)(de)同時,主動承擔社(she)會責任(ren)。回應(ying)社(she)會需要,積極學(xue)(xue)習(xi)社(she)區教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)經驗,探索(suo)老(lao)年教(jiao)(jiao)(jiao)育(yu)工(gong)(gong)作(zuo)。服務學(xue)(xue)習(xi)型社(she)會和技能社(she)會建(jian)(jian)設。
