　　Qilu Youth Forum, as an integral part of Shandong University's talent introducing brand, has been successfully held for seven consecutive years from 2016 to 2022. Revolving around international scientific frontier, cutting-edge research areas, and industry-related issues, the Forum aims to serve as a platform for young scholars of different academic backgrounds at home and abroad to conduct academic exchange and cooperation, as well as to appeal them to develop together with Shandong University.

　　■ Academician Zhang Yun's team initiated a new approach and formula for estimating hemodynamic parameters using Doppler ultrasound technology in the international arena.

　　■ Academician Peng Shige's team proposed the theory of inverse stochastic differential equations, and initiated the internationally recognized Chinese school of "nonlinear expectation".

　　■ Academician Wang Xiaoyun's team established China’s discourse in the field of international cryptography, which firmly supported the major national aerospace projects and the financial security of China.

　　■ Academician Chen Zijiang's team made a breakthrough in the genetic pathogenesis of infertility and the regulatory mechanism of early embryonic development, taking the lead in international reproductive medicine research.

　　■ Academician Li Shucai's team made a breakthrough in the world challenge of forecasting sudden water and mud disasters in underground tunnel engineering, ranking in an international leading position.

　　Major national cultural projects, such as the Integration of Ancient Chinese Books, the National Research Project on Tracing the Origins of Chinese Civilization, Archaeology in China, and the compilation of the General History of China, are being progressed in an orderly manner.

　　Shandong University was selected into the second batch of Chinese Literature and Art Review Bases, and ranked 7th in China in terms of the number of major national social sciences projects of various types authorized in 2022.
