I hope the government can build a subway station near my community.Right now,I am living in the southeast corner of my city,a not very prosperous area.There are only two bus routes passing here.I have to wait for a long time at the bus stop to catch one and it is quite a suffering during the burning summer and the freezing winter.

Although I always hope this could happen,I have no idea about how to achieve this.Building a subway station is a huge project.You not only need to build the entrance on the ground,but also have to dig deep to build an underground tunnel.This article is from Laokaoya website.It is a ten-million-RMB investment and can provide many job opportunities.It is just beyond a normal citizen’s capability.

Even the government does decide to start this project,there may be two problems lying ahead.For one,the construction would inevitably block the main road we currently use and lead to the change of the bus routes I have mentioned before,which means we will be cut off from public transport temporarily.Second,it may also incur opposition from the taxi drivers doing business nearby,since it would reduce the number of their customers.

However,I think the subway station in my imagination will bring great convenience to the residents nearby.It is faster than the bus and would not be affected by traffic congestion.I really hope my dream could come true someday.
